The DD Rating WordPress plugin enables editors to activate a star rating field only on posts they feel the need to have such a mechanism in place.

Setting up each rating system is done via a special metabox on the post editing screen.

Once activated a star rating field will be added to the contact form and users can vote by posting a comment.

After votes have been racked up, the editor can review overall votes in the post's same DD Rating metabox and can even use a simple shortcode to output the average of all user votes inside the post itself.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
